超越–「超越你過去的啟示」

      沒有人能比彼得獲得更多的啟示，但是安得烈帶他去耶穌那裡時，他還沒有得到。你們許多人必須承認，在你第一次來教會時你並沒有得到啟示，但是你知道有東西在吸引著你。彼得在一開始跟隨耶穌時，他並沒有得到啟示，直到與耶穌在一起大約二年八個月的時間才得到。然後他就突然得到了，他超越了他所知道的事，而且天父與他連結。彼得說：「我知道你是誰，你是基督、彌賽亞，是要來的那一位。」

     耶穌說，「唯有天父才能將這啟示顯明給你」，於是祂就對彼得發預言。彼得超越了，但只維持大約十分鐘，而那是很合理的。當有人在主日說預言時，你能得到這啟示，但是在星期二之前你可能就開始說，「那是什麼？有人說了什麼嗎？」，這是很合理的事。所以不要過於論斷彼得，要知道你必須超越你過去的啟示。

      Nobody could get more revelation than Peter, but he didn’t get it when Andrew brought him to Jesus. A lot of you need to be honest. You don’t get it when you first hook in, but you know something’s drawing you. Peter started following, but he didn’t get it until about two years and eight months into his time with Jesus. Then all of a sudden he got it. He went beyond what he knew, and Father connected with him. Peter said, “I know who you are. You are the Christ, the Messiah; You are the One.”

 

      Jesus said, “Only Father could have shown you that,” and then He prophesied to him. Peter went beyond but only stayed beyond about ten minutes—and that’s legitimate. You can get it when someone is prophesying it on Sunday, but then by Tuesday you’re saying, “What was that? Did somebody say something?” It’s legitimate. Don’t over-judge Peter. Know that you have to go beyond your last revelation.
