Catherine Brown:
"I Am Reaching Out to the Four Corners of the Earth"

Catherine BrownVision of Messiah Yeshua "5-7-7-2"

In a vision I saw the Lord and He was surrounded by glory and holy fire. In the atmosphere of Heaven that surrounded Him, I saw numbers emerge in the living flames and these numbers were 5-7-7-2. The Lord took hold of the numbers 5-7-7-2 and they became like a four-branch menorah in His hands and He spoke,

"I am the Light of the world and My people, the Jews, are the light of the world. Their light and life cannot be extinguished for I Am their breath and sustenance. I am the strong Defender of My people and I will never leave them or forsake them. World leaders may take a stand against My people, but I am their King of Kings and Mighty Deliverer. Even when My people are as Gomer, I am a faithful husband such as Hosea; even when My people are as Rahab, I am a tower of strength to them in times of devastation (see Isaiah 45:24).

"I am reaching out to the four corners of the earth with the fullness of My light and My Love. Though darkness, even great darkness, covers the earth, see I am coming with My glory and this shall be a shelter to those who seek Me with all of their hearts. A time of trouble is coming upon the nations, but in times of affliction and persecution, I will prove Myself mighty once again as the God of the armies of Israel.

"My Kingdom is established in righteousness, justice and love. My rule is incorruptible and my power cannot be tainted. The devourer rises to steal and destroy, but I raise My banner over the nations (see Isaiah 11:10 and 16:5) and My banner is a place of shelter, shade and refuge. My banner is a place of succour and refreshing and My banner is sealed in My Blood, through which all mankind may receive the opportunity for forgiveness and healing and life ever after in My Father's house."

Atonement and First Love

"First Love, First Love, First Love. I speak a word to My Church in the nations (see Revelation 2:4)Return to Me with all of your hearts. Let Me reveal afresh to you the power and promise of atonement. For in this priceless sacrifice and governmental act of mercy, I have provided redemption and blessed assurance for all mankind. In your busyness do not forget your First Love, for without intimacy with Me you are of no worth to a waiting world. Let Me empty you of all distractions; let Me take from you the burdens I have not anointed you to carry so that I may again place My yoke, which is easy and light, upon you."

The Altar and the Mercy Seat of Heaven

Jesus proceeded to move into a most holy place, whereby I saw an altar in Heaven upon which He placed the four-branch menorah (made up of the numbers 5-7-7-2). Each of the numbers became like a living flame and words began to emerge in their glory-like burning. These words were lightlove, mercy and justice. The Lord spoke once more,

"I minister before the altar as your High Priest and Apostle. My Father's altar is the mercy seat of Heaven. It is My Blood that flows in atonement to sanctify, to purify, to redeem and to justify My beloved Bride. My Blood is My living presence and the seal of the atoning work of Calvary."

The Eternal Quality of the Blood - The Blood is a Living, Spiritual, Heavenly Power!

We do not always fully enjoy the blessings of the power of Christ's Blood because we have not always understood what those benefits are or how the Blood has accomplished them.

To experience the power of the Blood we have to actively cooperate with it. Yet we must also realise that while God is looking for our choice to surrender our will and all to Him, He has so bound together the power of the Blood and the work of His Holy Spirit that even when we do not fully understand all that the Blood has accomplished for us, still we may rely on Him to make the power of the Blood ceaselessly effective in us through the power of the Spirit. The Blood works on our behalf even if we do not fully understand all that is has purchased for us.

The Spirit and the Blood are eternally at work on our behalf. As the Blood possesses its power through the Spirit, so the Spirit manifests His full power and work effectively among men through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. The Blood has the power to pardon the penalty of our sin, purify us from sin, protect us from sin, cleanse us from sin, sanctify us and set us apart. The Blood has the power to perfect us in Christ's image, to deliver us from the pollutant effects of sin. The Blood has the power to equip us for service, and to empower us to be purified to serve as priests, and to reign in righteousness as kings. The Blood has the power to protect us.

"For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in Heaven, by making peace through His Blood, shed on the Cross." Colossians 1:19-20

The Blood possesses its value from the Cross on which it was shed, and through the Blood and the Holy Spirit, the Cross reveals its effect and power:

· The Cross has its power because of the Blood that is full of the life of the spotless Son of God/Son of Man, i.e. the life of obedience and self-sacrifice that Jesus lived surrendered to God.

· The Blood has its power because of the life that was sacrificed at the Cross by the Lamb of God who was slain to take away the sins of the world.

· The Cross and the Blood convey the love of God to us.

· The Cross and the Blood are the convergence of history of the ages, of His righteous redemption in Christ, where Heaven and earth meet in the miracle of grace.

· The Cross was the outward expression and manifestation of the inner nature of Christ – His nature of self-sacrifice (see Philippians 2:8-9).

· The life of Christ is in the Blood.

· The Cross accomplished a work in Christ. He was made perfect through suffering, and through His suffering, the Cross must also perfect its work in us.

· The work of the Cross is to change our inner character and conform it to be like Christ, whose nature and inner character were of self-denial. Christ carried the Cross His whole life. What became visible at Golgotha was simply a manifestation of the character that defined His whole life.

The Cross and the Blood enable us to:

1. Overcome the "I" of Self-Life

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me..." Galatians 2:20

2. Overcome the flesh

"Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires." Galatians 5:24

3. Overcome the World

"May I never boast except in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." Galatians 6:14

The Cross dealt with both the power and the penalty (guilt) of sin (see Galatians 3:13). The shedding of Christ's Blood could not happen apart from sacrifice. We must comprehend that nothing happens in the realm of the spirit without sacrifice.

Union with Christ

· The Cross and the Blood have removed every obstacle of separation from God.
· As a Believer unites with Christ and receives His life, he receives a life through the Cross that has overcome the power of sin.
· We died to sin and our old self is crucified with Him (Romans 6:6-7).

The revelation of the accomplishment of Calvary through the shed Blood of Jesus ought to inspire us to worship with all our hearts, as it did for John, the twenty four elders and the thousands upon thousands of angels who sang, "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and praise!" (Revelation 5:12).

My husband Stephen enjoys the study of the Torah and recently he shared some insights with me, as follows:

First reading of the Bible: "In the beginning God created Heaven and earth" (Bereshit bara Elohim et hashamayim ve'et ha'arets). I prefer the translation offered by the early Jewish sages – "With beginnings, God created heaven and earth."

Bereshit begins with the letter "Bet" – Bet is the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet and the literal meaning is "House." The last letter of Bereshit is "Tav" – and the literal meaning is "Cross." In this first word of the Bible we Christians can identify the full exile and redemption – from the first house (or temple) through to the ultimate redemption of the world on the Cross.

The final verse of the Torah is:

"...or any of the mighty acts or great sights that Moses displayedbefore the eyes of all Israel" (Ulechol hayad hachazakah ulechol hamora hagadol asher asah Moshe le'eyney kol-Yisra'el).

The last letter of the Torah is Lamed. At the end of the year, Rosh Hashanah, Jews celebrate a year of studying the Torah, and also celebrate a new year ahead of studying the Torah. If lamed is joined with bet, it forms the word "leb" – meaning "heart." The space between the lamed and the bet in the Torah indicates the "open heart" required to study the Word of God.

It occurs to me that as Messiah speaks to us as His Bride of returning to Him – our First Love – that it is important to embrace these beautiful Hebrew words, i.e. that we have an open heart towards God at all times.
