預言我們的命定–「生命的氣息」
「我觀看，見骸骨上有筋，也長了肉，又有皮遮蔽其上，只是還沒有氣息。主對我說：人子啊，你要發預言，向風發預言，說主耶和華如此說：氣息啊，要從四方(原文是風)而來，吹在這些被殺的人身上，使他們活了。」(以西結書37:8-9)
在這裡我們看到預言的第二個層次。以西結已經看見骸骨連結起來，肉也長出，但並沒有氣息在裡面，也就是沒有生命，那是否代表他是一位假先知？不，當然不是，那只表示還有一些事情沒有完成來使預言實現。所以主說，「回去對那還沒領受到生命的部分再去發預言。」請注意，神並沒有叫以西結再從頭重新發預言，卻只要他對其餘尚未起作用的部分發預言，並命令它符合神的計畫與旨意。
當我們在宣告神的話卻遇到一個阻礙時，並不一定表示我們沒有聽到神說的話、或是我們失敗了。那常代表我們需要進入一個預言的第二個層次，才能使我們看見生命得以進入神渴望帶來生命的地方。

“But there was no breath in them. Also He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, “Thus says the Lord God: ‘Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live’”’” (Ezek. 37:8-9).
Here we see the second level of prophecy. Ezekiel had seen the bones come together and the flesh appear, but there was no breath in them. There was no life. Did that mean he was a false prophet? No, of course not. It just meant that something was not yet working to produce prophetic fulfillment. So the Lord said, “Go back and prophesy to that part that has not received life.” Notice that He did not tell Ezekiel to re-prophesy everything from the beginning, but only to prophesy to the part that was not working and command it to come in line with God’s plans and purposes.
When we encounter a snag in declaring God’s word, it does not necessarily mean that we have not heard God or that we have failed. It often means that we need to enter into a second level of prophecy in order to see life come into that which God is longing to bring to life.
