門–「開門」
「門」是神統管祂的百姓之有力象徵，正如我們在以賽亞書所看到的，上帝的律法管理著祂的百姓與國家靈性的健全，所以上帝的律法可以用「門」這個字來作為象徵：
「敞開城門，使守信的義民得以進入。」(以賽亞書26:2)
「你的城門必時常開放，晝夜不關；使人把列國的財物帶來歸你，並將他們的君王牽引而來。」(以賽亞書60:11)
「你們當從門經過經過，預備百姓的路；修築修築大道，撿去石頭，為萬民豎立大旗，」(以賽亞書62:10)(現代中文譯本為：耶路撒冷的居民哪，到城外去吧；為歸來的同胞造一條大路。預備一條大道，清除障礙；為萬國的人民豎立路標。)
「門」也是邪惡勢力攻擊人類靈魂、敵對基督所建立之教會的象徵：
「我說：正在我中年(或譯：晌午)之日必進入陰間的門；我餘剩的年歲不得享受。」(以賽亞書38:10)
「我必在你前面行，修平崎嶇之地。我必打破銅門，砍斷鐵閂。」(以賽亞書45:2)
「萬軍之耶和華如此說：巴比倫寬闊的城牆必全然傾倒；他高大的城門必被火焚燒。眾民所勞碌的必致虛空；列國所勞碌的被火焚燒，他們都必困乏。」(耶利米書51:58)
「我還告訴你，你是彼得，我要把我的教會建造在這磐石上；陰間的權柄(權柄：原文是門)，不能勝過他。」(馬太福音16:18)

Day 30 of 100 Days: Gates: “Open The Gates” Read: Isa. 26:2, 60:11, 62:10, 38:10, 45:2, Jer. 51, Matt 16

The gates are powerful symbols of God’s authority over His people. As we see in the book of Isaiah, God’s laws that keep His people and the spiritual health of the nation could be symbolized by the usage of this word “gate”:
- Open the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in(26:2).
- Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day or night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles, and their kings in procession (60:11).
- Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the high- way! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples!(62:10).
The gates are also symbolic of evil powers that war against the souls of people and against the church that Christ is building (italics added):
- I said, “In the prime of my life I shall go to the gates of Sheol; I am deprived of the remainder of my years” (Isa. 38:10).
- “I will go before you and make the crooked place straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron” (Isa. 45:2).
- Thus says the LORD of hosts: “The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; the people will labor in vain, and the nations, because of the fire; and they shall be weary” (Jer. 51:58).
- “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matt. 16:18).
Tomorrow we will conclude our study of “gates” with a decree that will push us into a new realm!
