      We must ask the Lord to open our eyes to the invisible world around us.  We must co-labor with the Hosts of Heaven.  We (the Army of the Earth) and Hosts of Heaven (the angelic forces) must co-labor together to bring forth God’s Kingdom plan in the earth.  We must worship in new ways!  We must release our inhibitions and ascend in new ways until we are boldly before the Lord who created us for a time such as this.  Ask the Lord to open your eyes!  Ask Him to remove veils of religion and unbelief that have captivated your heart and faith expression. Ask Him to deliver you from the trauma of past circumstances.  Ask Him to break a spirit of infirmity that has attached to wounded emotions because of deferred hopes.  Break any wrong judgments that you have built up in your mind against God because you did not “see” the fullness of His plan for your life in the past season!  

     When working in the secular field of Human Resources, I would journey each day through intense traffic to my office in Houston, Texas. This would entail a one hour commute each way. I finally realized that if I had someone driving me, I would be free to read and even seek the Lord during those two hours, instead of wasting energy reaching my destination (and at times, experiencing a touch of road rage).  Therefore, I found a commuter bus where I could get seated and immerse myself in communion.

     One hot summer day as I was having my daily Bible reading on the ride to work, the following verse leapt off the page of my Bible:   “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” (Ephesians 1:3-6)  Suddenly, a window in heaven appeared and opened. Now, remember, I am on a bus to downtown Houston, and the heavens open and I“see beyond”.

     I could see all the blessings of my grandfathers. I could see all of the blessing that my father had been offered. I could see how the faith of my grandmother had stored blessings in the heaven for future generations. I could see my blessings for now and the future. 

     The Lord then spoke and said, “All of these blessings are yours. The blessings that were never taken by your family bloodline are still there to be released to you. The blessings I have for children and their children are stored for future release. Look now and see your call. I have spoken these blessings to you. Now, you must bring those blessings into reality by faith! Faith comes! Bring My faith that is heaven into action in the earth!”

     The Word had unlocked the Heavens for me and allowed me to see into a realm that I had never seen before. Faith filled the bus. I could not contain this faith. I actually thought the bus would turn over as the atmosphere of heaven invaded. I said to the Lord, “What do I do with this faith?” He said, “Give it away!” Since that time, I have warred on earth for a manifestation of all of these promises.  I had seen my inheritance and received faith to possess or occupy what God was offering me!

     Like the Apostle John on the isle of Patmos, I had come up and seen beyond where I was on earth. Worship causes you to ascend and see what Heaven has to offer. After seeing into God’s heart and dwelling place, you have the faith to bring what is revealed into an earthly reality.
